سورة الفاتحة

( I recite ever ),with the name of Allah who is All-Magnanimous Provider of nourishment and All-consistent provider of nourishment.

  • This ayat has mentioned three kind of groups of people. One; who are blessed , second, who were cursed and third, who got atrayed from right path.

1.An'amta Alaihim: These are blessed people. Na'ama-- is the basic root of an'amta. Deriviatives of Na'ama has different meaning. Naa'im-- is a soft attractive cloth while Ne'aa'ma--- is pleasant wind coming from south. Tan'heemat'un -- is a plant which grows on water and looks green and grangerous to eyes. An-Niamaat'un is a forward bent building on hill or elevated place. Naimat'un -- is any material or metaphysical idea or imagination which consoles mind , heart and body. , Naima't-- is a blessed phenomenon which soothen your eyes, body and mind while elevating imagination and mode of feeling well. It creates feeling of contentment and happiness.

Quran Hakim -- has used word nai'ma in different context while displaying the meaning of ; necessities of life ( ---), gains of war (---), the products even geting through ships( 31:31) and also the luxurious life in heaven (44:27).

Who are 'Mun'am Elaih': Sura- Nisa ( 4:69-70) minutely explains the natureand tyoe of those people who are blessed with blessings of Allah. Any body who obeys Allah and His Prophet ; these are people upon Allah has blessed upon and they will be with Apostles, Siddiqeens( leading in belief), Shohdaa( leading in knowledge) and Salaheens( leading in welfare deeds) and certainly their company is marvelous. Moreover Quran says that this is the blessing direct from Allah who is well aware this whole context in terrms of its pious deeds and its implications.

Wealthy people and Kings are not necessarily included in Mun'im Elai'he. Nimroud, Pharoes, Halakoo Khan were very powerful kings, yet they have been cursed. Likely rich people enjoying luxuries of life may not  be blessec people unless they perform pious deeds which benefit other people at large. In brevity, Blessed people are those who intentions, thoughts and actions are positive and assimilative in nature. They benefit those soul and personality by thing positive and doing possitive while benefitting themselves, society and mankind. They are well recognized by virtue of knowledge, and achivements in this life and implications of their noble deeds on mankind. So virtuous persons are alwaus recognized because of their harmponious, cohesive and magnificent deeds and their positive implications on mankind, this life and after-life.Their philosophies and actions are weaved into fabric of human life ; enlightening and glowing by every inch of it.

Gair'e Mughdoob Elai'him: 'Maghdoob' has been derived from basic root of  alphbets: (  )  which means burning emotions of person due to anger and feel of the boiling of blood giving reddish colour to face and body skin. So, it also means ' Lion" which  sybolizes same features during wrath. 'Ghidaab' is a pathalogy wherein skin becomes reddish with tiny spectacles all over body. Maghdoob is disease with symptems like measles. 'Al- Ghadhbat'un' is rock while 'Al-ghadoob'  is a snake with same features of ' Ghadh'e'ba'.

Qur'an has used the word 'Nai'mat'un'  and 'Re'za'  as opposites to ' Ghadh'e'ba' . Allha ,s ghadh'e'b is different from the anger and anguish of  persons. It operates in view of universal eternal principles and laws of nature over time line of  even centuries. The consequance of  Allah,s wrath is destruction of nation, civilization and life. Perished nations of Pharoes, Aad, thamood, Loot are examples which suffered frmm degradation and destruction (2:11). These nations then suffered a prolonged chastisement (2:61). likely the nation of Aad was punished by wrath of Allah and that was rubbered off from face of world(7:71-72).

Most of scholars are of view that ' the nation of Isra'el ' is best example of ' Maghdoob'e Elai'he' . They had enjoyed the blessings of Allah followed by wrath of Allah. They defied the dictates of Allah when Allah asked them to say prayer, pay alms, believe in prophets of Allah and support them while financialy helping people through soft loans. As per promised of Allah, they then would be admitted into gardens underneath with flowing waters.  But they defied and Allah chastied them with His Ghadib and crused them , Resultantly, they hearts were hardened.(5: 11-13, 60).
